The ups and downs of a typical day....

Spills, spills and more spills - I love having kids who have confidence to do things on their own - Ainsley thought she could get out a full gallon of milk from the top shelf of the refrigerator because I was taking a nap! Sweet girl didn't want to wake her mother!! Spills are most likely to occur right after I've mopped/cleaned the floors really well!!!
The boys being sweet to each other. It amazes me at such a young age how they enjoy to play with and around each other (I don't have any pictures but it works the other way too!!) I love to hear them "talking" and giggling together!! They light up when they see each other....usually ;)
Taking walks - We all love being outside. We took our first walk this past weekend without a stroller - well no one was riding in a stroller. Brody pushed Ainsley's doll stroller all the way down the street and back. He was so excited pointing and exclaiming everything he saw! Findley took a couple of steps with the stroller but really likes exploring on the ground still not moving too much!
Ainsley loves being the big sister and leading the way!
It can be a little nerve racking having too little ones scouring around the floors. Keeping them clean is a full time job in itself and then removing all the "little things" that get dropped, misplaced, left etc to keep out of the boys hands is another full time job! I pulled one of these out of each boys mouth in the same day!
Hugs and Snuggles! There is always someone to wrap your arms around and always someone to return the favor! Lots of hugs and snuggles around here. The boys love to crawl in your lap and lay their head down for a quick pit stop! A few weekends ago I was taking a nap (we enjoy our naps!!) and Ainsley crawled up with me, snuggled in and fell asleep also! I love that!
Watching all three of them interact with each other warms my heart. Things are busy but doing wonderful things most of the time!!! Every now and then there's a "He's following me!!!" screamed through the house. But for the most part they can all bring a smile to each others face like no one else can!!!
Ainsley loves to "spider swing" in the backyard. I sit forward and she sits on my lap facing the other way. My big 4 year old lays her head on my chest and we just swing! It feels wonderful to have these moments with her when otherwise things are usually moving way too fast!!
Hanging out in the backyard....whether climbing on the fort or just laying on a blanket drawing or playing with the kids. The calmness and natural beauty of the outdoors is so enjoyable with children.
With the boys almost making their year mark on this world our cloth diapers have definantly seen better days. They are wonderful and have improved them even throughout the year we have been using them - stronger velcro!! We have had a few episodes of them falling off in the morning when they wake - the last thing you want to start your day with - a naked baby and dirty poop ALL over their crib!!!! This was a "clean episode" but that is his diaper sticking out of his right leg pant!!!
Findley found Ainsley's markers!!! Thank goodness they are non-toxic but he was drooling orange for the rest of the day!!!
Things are ALWAYS exciting around here but I am loving this opportunity to be with my children!! They are all getting too big way too fast!!!!
