Day at the Park

Ainsley is always wanting to go to the park and it just isn't safe really with the boys these days by myself - totally convinced after this trip!!!! We had invited lots of her friends from school so thankfully I had lots of backup! Everything was going well, friends, being outside, a BEAUTIFUL day - until the boys found the stairs that they could reach!!! They were all over the place and nothing was stopping them - and of course it was opposite directions. They would get so mad if you tried to take them anywhere else then where they wanted to go!!!! It was beyond crazy!!! I think they have reached a new level of independence/personal ownership!!!! They poke at each other in the car seats and want their own arm rest, thier own toys, their own mammas lap and on and on! I guess you can't blame them for trying ;) Okay Ang - are you happy?? ;) I'm glad to know you check in with us frequently!!!! XXOO

Ainsley, my dear Ainsley

Ainsley has a wild imagination!!! Since the boys were born she has given birth to roughly 10 babies! She talks about them constantly and expects you to treat them as a member of the family!!! She is very maternal and is always tending to them throughout the house. I put the boys to bed and find dolls tucked in, animals in the bathtub, extra chairs at the table for them to eat with us and on and on.....Just when I have gotten the boys to bed she is always asking me to watch one of her children/babysit/feed them!!!! Maybe an octuplet mom in the making???? HA!! ;) Her mother can ONLY handle three.....barely! Notice they are all sets of two....I'd like to get a psychologist perspective on this.... I love her to death!!!!

More fun with the Schwartz!!! We can never get enough of them!!!!

They all love each other and get along so well!!!!

Church Movie Night

Our Sunday School puts on socials - some for the kids and some adults only!!! - monthly. This month we met at the church for movie night although I'm not sure anyone watched - it was a load of fun!!! There was a big pillow pit and everyone brought snacks and the kids just took it in their own direction - lots of visiting, running, jumping, playing and fun had by all!!!

Multiples Playgroup

We went over to a friends house who also has twin boys a month younger than Brody and Findley and a daughter a year younger than Ainsley - there were also three other moms with twins between 13-16M - So a total of 10 one year olds!!! and two big girls!!! It was really calm considering!! They all had fun I think!

Visiting with our old (soon to be again ;) neighbors!!

The girls were playing beauty shop with Kelly's hair!!!

Enjoying the Backyard

We have really enjoyed the great weather these days!!!

Another "Last Night"

This was my most recent running group. The sessions run about 6 weeks and then it is tradition to go out and celebrate our accomplishments after the last class!! Each time I think it can't get any better and I just meet the most wonderful people!! Each group takes on it's own personality but I have so enjoyed each one for different reasons! This time it was my friend Christen and I and the rest were men - definantly pushed myself more than usual but it felt great!!! I have really enjoyed this venture!!!

Happy Valentines Day!!!

Ainsley ready for a run!!

How can you be mad at your children for digging through your closet/drawers when they look this cute!!!!

Gourmet Breakfast

During the week I am up WAY before the kids (partly for my sanity - I like a little quiet time to ease into my morning) but on the weekend Ainsley comes and wakes US up usually. The last couple of weekends Ainsley has surprised us with breakfast!! I had gotten these baby bell peppers (We are a bell pepper family - we love them!!!) and she had placed three at each person's spot. I was doing something else and the boys were not happy. All of a sudden it was quiet so I kept doing whatever I was doing - when I turn to check on them the boys had each pulled down a bell pepper from the table and were going to town just like eating a delicious, juicy apple!!! They continued on through several bell peppers each leaving only the stem!!!!

Mom's Night Out

These are some of the moms from our neighborhood playgroup. They are such an awesome group of women!!! I'm not quite sure why it took us so long to organize a playgroup WITHOUT the children!!!! We had such a good time and will definantly make this a monthly event!!!

Findley has a little cold

Findley picked up a little cold over the weekend. He is a little fussy and slept horrible last night but seems to be doing well today. Has a good appetite and drinking lots of water!!! I took them in thinking for sure they both had ear infections but Dr. Mathieu said their ears looked great! Go figure!!! If I ignore them they get fluid and if I take them in there is nothing wrong! I do feel better though and now know we just let it run it's course (for now!!). He always loves his blanket but has been especially attached to it now not letting it out of his sight!!! He has taken super naps and wakes up all hot and sweaty but with the cutest curls in his hair!
