Happy 4th Birthday Ainsley!!!!

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating Ainsley's 4th birthday!!! Here she was Friday morning playing with her new toys from mom and dad mixed in with some of her favorites she is constantly playing with already!!! Going to meet dad for her birthday lunch

It was such a fun time and so glad both of our families could all make it! Both she and I were still recovering today from all the partying! We were WORN OUT! She went to bed at 7:00 (an hour early) and I only got to dream of following right behind her!!

Happy Birthday Ainsley - you are so special to us and have made the last 4 years unbelievably fun - full of joy, excitement, love, adventure and laughter!!! WE LOVE YOU!

Singing School

Ainsley is back to teaching!! She asked me for some nametags and went to work! Even tagged her brothers bare backs! OUCH! Conducting the choir!

Who needs a teething toy????

Who needs a teething toy when you have a brother!!! He's much softer, lovable and comforting!!! They are always nibbling on each other - what will we do when they have a few teeth???? I was sitting in very close proximity - right behind him - but wasn't holding on to him at all! They are becoming good sitters! I was hoping they would get close before we went to the beach....we'll see, only another week to practice!!

She also has an older daughter who will be three this summer. Ainsley and Kaitlyn had a great time together and then Brody, Findley, Julianne and Jacob crawled, rolled, cried and ate together!! I think a great time was had by all!!!

Around the house

Ainsley is in to doing her own hair these days! LOVES the accessories!! The boys are really enjoying each others company these days!! They grab for each others hands every now and then just to check in!! It's really sweet! Then they grab the other ones hair to have leverage to move around and give a swift kick in the face as they head on their way!!! Sweet brothers! Ainsley and Brody - Ainsley had Brody all wrapped up in her blanket and was just talking away with him! It is so sweet to see how much they enjoy each other - even at such a young age! It's their mom that drives them crazy!! ;) I can already see the three of them ganging up on me to sneak out over the weekend!

First Trip to the Cabin

Ryan's parents have built a cozy little cabin in Church Hill (outside of Henderson in East Texas) on some land they owned. We all met out there together for the first time and it was the most wonderful weekend. So simple, laid back and very peaceful in our surroundings. Owen catching the first fish... Happy Father's Day! Ainsley really enjoyed the fishing. She wanted to touch the fish, learn about them and just hang out but most impressive to her were the decorative touches (lures) they were putting on the end of their line. Everything was quiet and then she would exclaim "ooooh, look at this cute one" - silver and white sparkly pom, pom type lure. Good times with Dad! It was a wonderful Father's Day weekend and we all got some great relaxation in!!! Ainsley loved exploring in the outdoors and the boys were just getting teased by the smells from the porch!!! Next summer I envision us having a wonderful time and then all in bed on Wednesday with Poison Ivy from head to toe as everyone will be on the move!!! Hope I'm not jinxing (sp) myself!! I see many wonderful family memories to come......Thank you Grandmother and Grandaddy!!!!!
