New Friends

We stayed after school on Monday and played with some of Ainsley's new friends from school!

Taking a Walk

We had such a great morning - both seemed very content playing on their own, enjoying each other, we'd read a book or play a game and then they were off again. I got a lot done!!! We ventured out on a walk to enjoy the nice weather! Okay, so they didn't hold hands the whole time - there were probably some stick stabbing and pushing along the way but they posed it up perfect for this picture!!! and held on for alot longer than I thought!! Findley found this perfect crepe myrtle - it had about 6 branches that made the perfect little space for him inside!!! Climbing in.... There is a house down the street that has some little animal statues throughout their garden. The boys love them! I had a meeting up at Ainsley's school at noon. The boys did great but were probably more than ready to go around 1:30. On the two minute trek home they both crashed!

Church Fish Fry

I Resting after a long day. It was funny Findley was snuggling with Ryan (who I think also wanted a nap) so they were going to lay on the couch. I put Brody in his bed and he screamed his head off I think b/c Findley was not in there with him - was his brother getting to by-pass nap? NO FAIR!!!! I had to go rock Brody and finally we had to both just put them in their cribs and then they were out!! After church on Sunday we had a fish fry - our friends made the most delicious fish and it was a beautiful day to picnic with friends! The pumpkins are here!!!! They unloaded on Sat - you are sure to see more pictures of these!!! I LOVE them! Great desserts to accompany our meal!!! :) Our church's Blue Grass band - great music!!! We had a CROP walk for hunger before the meal - we walked through the neighborhood raising money for people that are hungry and go without all over the world. The kids were thirsty!!!

UTD Family Festival

We went to a Family Festival over at UTD over the weekend and had a wonderful time. It reminds me of the simplistic fun we had when I was little. All the groups from UTD have different carnival games.......crafts, tatoos, basketball throw etc. They have a giant sand mound to climb and dig in, food (mostly free!) a concert put on by Eddie Coker and then followed by the Richardson Symphoney with a Firework finale!!! Ainsley has not enjoyed fireworks - we got her some earplugs and she LOVED them! Findley was hooting and hollering. Brody was snuggled close in Ryan's lap with only his eyes turned slightly to see the bursts of light in the sky - he was not so sure about them!!! It was a great evening together and ran into lots of friends during the night!! My camera battery died shortly after we began so I didn't get many pictures. :( It was KILLING me!!!

Neighborhood Picnic

Ainsley helping the girls at tug-o-war Petting a SNAKE!!! with the "creature teacher" Findley watching the creature teacher with dad Ainsley won 1st place in the bike parade! We had hot dogs, snacks and got to catch up with lots of friends!!!
Just hangin' out on the kitchen floor..... I think Brody walks around better in my shoes than I do!!! On Fridays I alternate the boys at their MDO and enjoy some one on one time with each of them. They are doing great and are enjoying their time alone also - whether it be with me OR at school! They are just giddy with each other though when they come home! It is so funny to watch - this Friday Brody was feeding Findley his lunch :) They usually don't nap they just talk with each for several hours on this day catching up!!!

Ainsley's Sick Day

Ainsley stayed home one day last week - she had a high fever in the middle of the night and then nothing else???? It turned out to be a very nice day - I had of course envisioned the worse - but she was fine and we just had a wonderful day all at home together! In our PJs all day long!!!!

Yummy!!! Ainsley and her class! She LOVES school!!! She is home sick today and told me "all i want to do is go to school and I can't!" :( Happy Birthday Mrs. Mooney!!!!

Chooo-Choooo

On the way out of the library the boys loved these bike rack pieces....they were instantly transformed into trains and away they went......choo-choo!!!!
