A visit to Greenhill

We headed over to Greenhill today to squeeze in a visit before they are out of school next week. Ainsley is always in school when we go usually so it was fun taking all of them! Ainsley loving on Ms. Lina (her teacher when I taught there) All three of them had so much fun - who wouldn't? It is such a magical place - so many neat toys and things and the most wonderful people to go along with them ! It was so good seeing everyone! It cracks me up how big they look sitting at these tables doing their "work"!! We got to go to their gym class and visit Coach Burton! The other kids were so sweet. A lot of them are siblings of the older children from when I was there so it was fun seeing them. Taking a walk.... Jump, Jump, Jump..... Findley found his dirt!!!! ;) They brought all of Ainsley's old classmates over for a picture on the playground! They are all so big!!! Too cute! We love you guys!!! Love you Ms. Lina!!!

Happy Memorial Day - Pool Opens

We joined our neighborhood pool finally this year. We all headed out yesterday to just enjoy each other. It was alot of fun but of course busy with three kids and large bodies of water!!! They had a great 3ft area for Ainsley. A little cantelope snack Ainsley immediatly saw a friend from her gymnastics class and played with several others from our church and then met some new friends! I think she is going to LOVE it! We need some refresher swim lessons and I think she will be good to go. She is pretty conservative in the water but can be in several of the areas on her own which makes it nice for both of us!!! The boys did not take to it quite like I had envisioned (that's their job I guess - to throw me off!!!) It was very cold so I think that took some getting used to but I have never been held so tight in all of their little lives as they did in the water. Findley's legs were wrapped around me so tight!!!! I had gotten life jackets from a friend hoping they could paddle around a little bit and be safe at the same time but they didn't really go for those? Hopefully just take some getting used to? I was very confident thinking I could do it on my own but my plan may need some re-thinking? We shall see.....the story of my life!!! Ryan left early with the boys - they were getting hungry and tired. Ainsley and I stayed for another hour or two and then walked home. It was perfect!

Reunited with the kids.....

I think I could have gone a couple more days ;) but it was good to see the kids. Ryan's parents drove down to meet us at the cabin Sunday morning. Their was a cemetery Homecoming celebration where Ryan's grandparents are buried and some of his aunts and uncles also. It was a wonderful day seeing family, singing a bit, looking around the cemetery and picnicking. The kids loved the DIRT! (we were away from the graves ;) Sharing some cookie....

A day at the cabin with no children!!!! :)

After Ainsley's graduation festivities Ryan and I headed out to the cabin and his parents stayed at the house with the kids. We had a wonderful time!!! We sat on the patio and enjoyed meals talking to each other. Laid around and read magazines, listened to the rain, enjoyed the cool breeze, walked around, picked blackberries....It was so wonderful to just slow down for a bit and enjoy each other! Reading a bit after my three hour nap (waking up whenever I felt like it!!), drinking a beer and cuddled up!!! We went into town around 1:30 for lunch and went to a little cafe that closed in 15 minutes. When we walked in we saw my old pre-school director and her husband (from Dallas also) enjoying THEIR lunch!!! Too crazy!!! They were on a motorcycle ride with friends and happened to stop through Henderson! BIZARRE! It was so fun seeing them there - a wonderful suprise. Funny what our pictures become without the kids around to focus on!!!!

After Graduation Celebration Party!!!!

We had all the girls in Ainsley's class over to play after graduation! It was such a fun way to end the school year, celebrate and enjoy visiting & playing with everyone!!! It was a magical day! Ainsley's teachers were so nice to stop by for awhile - that made our day! We all LOVED, LOVED, LOVED her teachers!!!
