Take me out to the Ballgame....

We headed out to cheer on the Frisco Rough Riders Sat night! Ainsley loved all the excitement (except for the surprise fireworks! - she likes to know what is in store for her before it happens)I think her favorite part was watching the mascot dance around and play games in between innings! She was also impressed when one of the batters hit the ball and broke his bat! She couldn't wait to get her hands on one and try this out for herself! Uncle Stephen, Papa and Ainsley at the game!!

What are we to do????

Our camera is BROKEN!!!! You who know me well know I am going CRAZY without one!!! We will have to get a new one soon. I can't cope without and especially with two new babies on their way!!! Ainsley has taken my liking for photography. Although her grandparents got her a really cool digital camera for kids that she does use alot, she is still allured to the "adult camera". It got dropped finally one too many times and the screen went out. :( You might find me out and about with a Fisher Price plastic pink camera with flowers in the meantime!! Will be back blogging soon.....

Ainsley's Drawings

These are the first people Ainsley has drawn (where you can tell they are people!) She says it's a picture of her and mommy with those two black circles in between us being the twins! We've never been drawn with legs before! I would love a psychological analysis!! With her birthday and my birthday and lots of thank yous in between, Ainsley has gotten very familiar with helping me write Thank You notes. She loves putting the cards in the envelopes and licking to seal. She's gotten into "writing" her own and wanting to send cards to her friends. She was talking about a friend Hayden (yes, Hayden King, this is for you!!) She asked me how to spell his name. I got our fridge magnets and laid them out on the table to spell his name and this was the product!! Her first letters....ahhhhhh

21 weeks

I am about to finish up my 21st week!! We had another ultrasound this morning and were happy to hear that the boys continue to look very healthy and are growing - now 14oz! They have doubled their weight since last appt. Thank goodness I have not doubled my weight!!!! but am definantly getting bigger!!! Ainsley loves to kiss my tummy and talk to her brothers! She tells them she loves them and says they tell her back that they love her also!! They are perfecting their sibling communication already to gang up on their parents!!!! A big hug..... Ainsley took this picture directing her family (including Jake) where to stand and what to do!! These pictures are getting more and more bizarre but here is the latest!

Silas' First Birthday/Meeting baby Jackson

I"m doing a little catch up.....last weekend we went down to McMahan to celebrate Silas' first birthday! It was a great weekend getting to catch up with lots of the family! (Ryan's mother's side - The Owens) Scott holding Silas, Cousin Jeb holding Ainsley and Cousin Billy holding Jackson. This was the first time we had met Jackson! He is a very handsome little boy and felt so good to hold a little baby again! Riley (big brother to Jackson) and Ainsley playing. Ainsley was so excited to play with a real baby carrier! She would buckle and unbuckle her baby all day long! Riley was not so impressed - he wanted Ainsley to join him in his "truck" to play and leave the dolls at home!! Nothing like good entertainment for your child to make for an easy ride home!!! Ainsley loved riding with Grandmother and Grandaddy in the back seat! We won't be able to do this for much longer :(

Summer Fun.....

This was such a fun day out in the back yard. Hannah, Erin and Valerie (friends from Greenhill) came by to splash and have lunch. Hannah was in my class when I taught there and miss their family so much! The girls played like they spent every day of their life together! Lots of giggling and craziness!! Ring around the Rosie with Ms. Rosey! and friends at swimming lessons! Ainsley and Madison (our neighbor) at the pool together Ainsley went to VBS at Spring Valley Methodist and LOVED it - as did I!!! They had the cutest program at the end - for some reason my camera wouldn't take very good pictures - but the kids had me in tears singing! Most of ya'll know it doesn't take much for me to shed a tear but it was so sweet!! She still sings them around the house and it is usually a message I need to be reminded of!! She's in the front row - I picked the picture of her crossing her arms not picking her nose which she did through a quarter of the program!!! What fun times!!
