I always get the order a little backwards - this is continuation of Christmas Day at my parents. Owen and Ainsley playing with Mason's new guitar. More fun with the leaves! May she always have such simple wishes!!!!! Ryan's parents were suppose to come in town and spend the day with us also but his Dad got sick a couple of days before they planned to leave. He is still being cautious and waiting until he is 100% to enjoy their trip here and hopefully prevent the boys from catching any of the yucky stuff going around! We hope he is feeling better soon and will look forward to stretching the holiday season a little longer and enjoying some time with them in the next couple of days! Hope you all had a Merry, Merry Christmas!
Here were the toys Santa brought for the boys! They were overwhelmed with excitement on their first Christmas morning!!! Playing with her new Dora play-doh kit from and with Uncle Owen! Later that day we went over to my parents to celebrate with them. Ainsley had to bring her rake and was very upset when she thought we might have forgotten it. We all sighed in relief when we got there and it did make it into the back of the car! She immediatly put it to work! Where in the world is Ainsley? A cooking basket she got from her Aunt Lisa! We have already put it to good use and made a cupcake recipe that came with it! We just needed more goodies around the house!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! Things were pretty simple this year around our house - at least in decorating for the holidays! But still a wonderful time.... Ainsley opening presents.... All she asked Santa for was a ....RAKE? I'm not sure where this wish came from? The only thing I can think of is she has played in the leaves with both of her grandparents and maybe it was so memorable that she wanted her own rake? Whatever makes her happy right? :) She was thrilled to see her wish granted!!!! Trying out her new jump rope! Dad and Uncle Owen putting her Children's Hospital together! It was quite a project but she it throughly enjoying it!!!

A visit from the Myers!

My dear friend Jennifer from college was in town visiting her in-laws and we were so excited that they had enough time to stop by and see us also!! Ainsley loves playing with her girls - Katie, Ella and Annie. Thanks for the visit, hope ya'll had a nice ride back to Houston!! Love ya'll and hope it is not FOREVER before we see you again!

Cabin Fever

We went on an outing to the park to get some fresh air! The doctor has suggested keeping the boys out of busy places with lots of germs during the flu/winter season so home is where we spend all of our time. It was a nice day out so we took advantage of that!

First Baths

Brody's first bath! They loved being rinsed off and have all the warm water at once but not too fond of the "cleaning"!! Brody Brody - relaxed and getting dressed for bed!! Findley - felt the same way as his brother!! AAAAHHHH...all clean! They were worn out and slept wonderful!

Angelic Ainsley!!??

All was quiet, I was nursing the boys in bed and Ryan went to check on Ainsley. She was sitting on the couch writing her name on the arm of the couch in Black Felt Tip Marker!!!! UGGGH! We did get it out and she was very apologetic when she saw our faces!!! We are all adjusting to our new roles in this family!! :)

Fun with the babies!!

Ainsley loves to be as close as she can to her brothers!! They are getting more and more alert everyday and enjoy looking around at their world! A visit from cousin Mason! She's got this mothering thing down!

They're Here!!!!

The boys surprised us a little early - being born on Dec 4 instead of our scheduled c-section on Dec 7. Brody Michael was born at 6:17 pm at 6lbs 13 oz and Findley Dolan was born a minute later weighing 6 lbs! They are both doing wonderful!! Here they are with their proud Daddy right after delivery!! A combined weight of 12 lbs and 13 1/2 oz in my stomach!!! YIKES! This was Ainsley's first visit to the hospital! She was SO excited to meet her little brothers!
