Brody and Findley - 4 months old!!

Daddy and Brody playing The boys were snuggled up on our bed sleeping. You can't really tell but Brody's arms are all wrapped around Findley's arm. It was so sweet - not sure it was really done on purpose but I think I might need to pull this memory out down the line when they are beating on each other!! Working on their abs! Getting pretty good on their tummies. This past Sunday was the first time we went to church and left the boys in the nursery. Their first "teacher" - Mrs. Nina!! She was a pro, holding them both at the same time!! She also teaches the baby room for Mother's Day Out. Their numbers are low this semester so we may take advantage of that a few times before school is out!!!

A visit with my cousins

Big brother Evan and his little brother Ian (7 months) came over on Saturday for a visit. They were both so sweet and wonderful to have around!!! Hanging out with their cousins.... Mason and Evan playing pirates in the backyard... My cousin Leslie and Brody - we missed seeing her boys Dylan (13) and Will (10) My cousin Angela and Brody - her boys are Evan and Ian. Findley was sleeping through most of the visit.
There were arms and legs going in every direction. The big kids goofing around on the beanbag chair.... If you can't beat them, join them..... Mason calming Brody after a busy day!!
I was so happy this last minute planning turned out. My sister and Mason and both Angela and Leslie all being able to come at the same time! It was wonderful visiting with you all. XOXO

Amanda and Greg's Wedding

We had a wonderful weekend down at Ryan's Grandparents celebrating the marriage of Amanda (Ryan's cousin) and Greg My girl loves to get dirty and run wild but she loved this girly weekend!! She got her hair done with all the bridesmaids and then she and I got our toes painted. Amanda and Ainsley - It was such beautiful day!
A quick family photo! Riley and Ainsley being introduced at the reception Ainsley and Silas playing at the reception Jackson getting his diaper changed - I spared you the details!! ;)
Ainsley and Amanda We had a great time sitting with Danielle and Reed at the reception. I told you you would make the blog Reed!!! This was the only picture we had to choose from! ;) Sorry, we didn't get one of you AND Danielle! They had sparklers as they left. I had always wanted this at MY wedding but everyone told me I was crazy and it was too dangerous and someone would be set on fire! Well, they did it and it was beautiful, fun and no one got hurt! Glad I got to partake in this at SOMEONES wedding even if it wasn't mine! When we got in the car Ainsley quickly started to crash! It was such a busy weekend and she was a real trooper. In the car she was tired, wanted me to climb to the VERY back to sit with her, wanted her clothes off immediatly and more...... Then the boys jumped in on the hollering...they were hungry and had enought of being in their carseats through most of the festivities. All three were crying....screaming. Ainsley has only done this maybe 5 times in her whole life but it was a doozy and their was no reasoning. Just talk calm, keep things simple and get these children to bed!!!! Everyone got a good nights sleep thank goodness!!!
We had a wonderful time with family and friends and are so happy for Amanda and Greg and their new life together!!

Happy Easter!!!

This was Easter morning at Ryan's grandparents church. Ainsley had such a great time with her cousin Riley this past weekend. She had lots of Easter fun while in McMahan and also a few baskets awaiting her homecoming.

Ainsley's first tatoo! I'm a little scared at how she wanted her shirt off so she could show it off!!! AND when I tried to put a shirt on she said she wanted her shirt like this so she could be a pirate!!! My sweet little blondie? Ainsley has always enjoyed cooking. We have cut back on her tv watching as things are starting to settle down around here and we are getting a good routine going. She likes to watch my shows though - Ellen, Oprah and Rachel Ray. Here she is putting on her own cooking show! She narrates through the whole thing and even goes on and off for commercial breaks!! It is quite entertaining! These are her most loyal fans!! Putting off their nap just so they can see the rest of her show! We colored Easter Eggs yesterday. We put a letter on each egg with a magic crayon for each member of our family. When we had them all lined up she was putting them in ABC order without even knowing it!!!

Easter Egg Hunt

We went to the Addison Easter Egg Hunt this morning where my Auntie dresses as the bunny every year. It was quite a morning and we were late for the hunt.
:( I was so proud of Ainsley - she didn't shed a tear (even I wanted to cry!) she just asked if she could go play on the playground!! She did get a cookie and got a sucker after having her picture taken with the bunny!!
The boys are wiped! I have managed to clean most of the house and do all of these posts!! They are napping in their cribs now and have been asleep for almost three hours!!! Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!
Okay, this is continuation of the park a little backwards.....Ainsley playing Hide n Seek! She loves this game but if you don't find her in 2 seconds she jumps out and lets you know where she is! Here were some clues she was giving us....taking it easy on mom and dad!! A tired Ainsley gets coaxed to leave the park by helping Daddy drive home! It is very close to our house - just through the neighborhood!

A Ride to the Park

The weather was wonderful again yesterday. Ainsley wanted to ride her bike to the park. It is not far but far enough to question her making it the whole way. She promised she wanted to do it and there would be no whining! Off she went with enthusiasm - a short 15 minutes later she arrived ready to play at the park! Here she is showing her muscles upon arrival. It has been a while since we have been at the park(the day the boys were born actually!!) and she was very adventuresome to try some of the more difficult activities that she has not been sure about before! The climbing bars.... Monkey Bars.... Taking a water break... The boys once again taking in everything they can on their second trip to the park! I was a little nervous that we were pushing it close to their next feeding. If Ainsley would stall at all going home or need a rest the boys were going to be going crazy. It was close to the end of the day so I had Ryan go pick up the Suburban and meet us at the park just in case. It was a good thing also. At 6:00 on the dot the boys were ready to eat and Ainsley was getting tired. We loaded everyone/thing in the burban and headed home! SHEW!

Playdate With Briana

One of Ainsley's friends came over for a playdate - Briana. She goes to our church and also to the Day School with Ainsley. They had a great time playing out in the backyard and playing with SPAGHETTI!! We cut it, made shapes with it, ate it, served it in our "italian restaurant" and more.... Ms. Lina, Our ants came today!!! Ainsley's old teacher from Greenhill gave Ainsley an ant farm. She knows us so well and knew we would love this project!!!! We had to send off for ants and yesterday they came!! They are now our kitchen table centerpiece! Pretty fun to watch!!!
