33 weeks - 5 to go

We had another ultrasound on Tuesday and got a great report. The boys are each estimated to weigh a little over 4 pounds!!! (4.2 and 4.5) The doctor thought if I made it to 38 weeks they could be 5.5 - 6 pounds!!! They are moving like crazy even though their extra space is diminishing! I'm feeling great. My back is the only thing that really bothers me off and on and I do literally "roll" in and out of bed!!!! The fun is coming to an end and a whole new kind of "fun" about to begin!!!!!!

Happy Halloween!!!!

My little Tinkerbell! We had such a fun day.....
Ryan and Ainsley started carving pumpkins last night to prepare for the big day! Pumpkin head!
Testing out the Jack-o-Lantern We started out the day with a Halloween parade at Ainsley's school. This is one of her good friends Madi. They sang some Halloween songs and paraded around to some spooky music. It was super cute!!
Ainsley's class party
On to the next party......Our playgroup had a Halloween lunch get together. Sweet little Abigail!! Her mom made this costume for her - she calls her her pumpkin pie so thought what else for her costume but PUMPKIN PIE! So cute!!!
Everyone getting comfortable - get rid of the costumes! Ryan and Ainsley headed out to Trick-or-Treat. Ryan was excited to meet alot of the neighbors. The last house they went to (right across the street from us) Ainsley had an accident. She just kept with her routine asking for candy as Ryan and the neighbor watched a puddle forming underneath her!!! She was very sweet and laughed it off! They were then quickly headed home for the night!!!!

Abigail's 3rd Birthday

We went to Pump it Up last weekend to celebrate Abigail's (Doug Thomas' daughter)3rd birthday. The kids loved seeing each other again and got some great exercise!!! Ainsley and Marshall playing basketball. Ryan and Doug getting in on the fun!!! Ainsley and Macie (6mo - Marshall's little sister) Ainsley and Marshall taking a break before cake and pizza!!!
Happy Birthday Abigail!!! Abigail looks like she might have a modeling career in her future!!! Hair blowing and serious face. They had these monster fans that they turned on after the pregnant lady was complaining how hot she was!!! and of course I was doing the least amount of movement/exercise!

Trying out a little Pixie Dust...

Ainsley decided a couple of weeks ago that she wanted to be a ghost for Halloween. I was thrilled - I could handle making a ghost costume!!! Then she decided to be a cat. Still not too bad? Then she couldn't decide between the two so she wanted to be a "cat-ghost". I could still do it - and very easily. Things were going well until we caught the tail end of the movie HOOK. Ainsley was thrilled with Tinkerbell and so Tinkerbell it is!! I decided to let someone else put this costume together - in steps wonderful Target!!! Practicing her flying and sprinkling of pixie dust around the house! She had to wear her wings and bring her wand over to visit with Uncle Owen! Uncle Owen is cracking some pecans open for her to snack on!! Sharing some magic fairy dust with the neighborhood!!! Off she goes.

A visit to Fort Worth

We went out to Fort Worth this past weekend to visit my sister and Mason. Mason had a soccer game on Sat we went to watch. He turned 7 today!! Happy Birthday Mason!!! Mason making contraptions with his new birthday Legos. It was wonderful spending the day with you both!!

Ainsley's big day....

as flowergirl that is!! We are honored that Albano and Jana have asked Ainsley to be a part of their wedding day in November. We got the dress the other day and were trying it on to make sure it all fit. Ainsley was thrilled to put it on (good sign - I'm a little frightened how she will be on the big day!!) and would not take it off. We compromised that she could wear the gloves only for a little bit longer. We still have to work on the hair Jana!!! ;) This was her end of the day, I've been at school running around outside, sweating in a pony tail look!!! Ryan was practicing walking her down the aisle....sniff, sniff.... We can't wait to celebrate with you Jana and Albano!!

32 weeks

32 weeks. I have an appt with my ob/gyn this Thursday and another sonogram next week. Then I think I'll have appointments every week! In the meantime, I can't believe how big I'm getting - most of it is my stomach but WOW!!!! I haven't found the right flattering pose yet!!

Our First Fall Day!!

This was our first true Fall day here in Texas! (last Thursday? - today it was in the 50's!!) Good thing we had planned to go out to our church pumpkin patch with my mom or we might not have ventured out!! It was too good to be true. We spent the rest of the day outdoors!! Building pumpkin towers with Granny...
When we got home we headed outside and decorated the sidewalks with chalk.
Being silly in the grass.

A Visit with Cousin Angela and baby Ian

Here is an updated picture of me in my fullness!!! since I didn't get one with my last sonogram. and still two more months to go!!! Ainsley swears there is a baby girl in her stomach that she is going to push out in December along side of me! So whenever my stomach gets attention she likes to show hers!!! Ainsley and I went out to Allen to meet our newest cousin Baby Ian and visit with his mom Angela. It was so good to catch up with her and hold this sweet little boy! Ainsley loved holding Ian and was dying to put a pacifier in a real baby's mouth and give him toys to play with!! She was excited to feed Ian a bottle and then after a few minutes of having to sit still she was ready to pass him off and move around and play herself a bit! Great to see ya'll!

Autumn at the Arboretum

I've been debating when to go out to the Arboretum and get some good fall pictures - trying to wait till it cools off! Not sure when that will happen though?? So we ventured out today. Ainsley didn't have school and Uncle Stephen offered to go with us. So off we went! They had all sorts of children's activities going on since it was a school holiday and they have special Mommy and Me Mondays through the Fall. This was Uncle Stephen and Ainsley enjoying a concert by Eddie Coker, children's musician/singer, and stopping for a little snack! I wish I got a picture of the whole lawn. There were strollers and children EVERYWHERE!!!! Lots of fun!
Ainsley trying to get as close as she can without falling in!! One hand holding on to Uncle Stephen for dear life and the other enjoying some cool water!
Uncle Stephen and Ainsley running under the fountains.
Pumpkins, Pumpkins everywhere. I think they said across the whole arboretum there were 20,000 pumpkins!! It was pretty unbelievable! I think Ainsley touched and picked up at least a 1,ooo of them!!
This was a maze made out of hay bales and lots of scarecrows all around! It was a great day and we are now home in our air conditioned house - worn out! We are having a wonderful "quiet time"!

Church Fall Festival

This is actually the last picture of the day. It had rained all morning and we were all a little damp. They were taken inside to change into misc dry clothes and threw theirs in the dryer!! These are some wonderful girls who usually watch the kids on Sundays and misc church events. While we worked they got to go through the festival with Ms. Lacey and Ms. Megan. Ainsley LOVES them both and are two favorite sitters to have over to the house!! There are usually a ton of boys and no girls - these are the only three girls in their age group. It just happened on this day it was ALL girls and no boys! They had a blast hanging out with each other!!
Ainsley's favorite I think was the powdered candy table!! Guess what color she liked best? It was sort of like sand art. They would pour all sorts of colored sugar into a test tube, look at the great designs and then pour it all right into their mouth! YUMMY? Then start all over!!
Ainsley and Ms. Megan
Painting and decorating the "choosen" pumpkin!
This was the first picture of the day! They were so excited that it was the three of them and they had the place to themselves!!

The Neighborhood.....

My neighborhood playgroup threw us a surprise Baby Shower! It was so much fun and they did so many neat things for us to help welcome these boys into this world!! Cute clothes, some of our cloth diapers, a disposable diaper "cake" for those first weeks, the cutest sign, hand painted, to put in our yard when they are born, delicious food, homemade cake and on and on! This is a ribbon they gave Ainsley - she was so proud to wear it around the house!!! We were thrilled to have them join in our excitement as we wait in anticipation of their arrival! I'll have to send more pictures when I get them - one of the girls did an excellent job of taking pictures also while I helped myself to seconds and thirds of food and cake!! Another crazy Wednesday night with Elliot our neighbor!!!

29 Weeks!! 8 more to go!!

I had another sonogram last week and got a good report on all!! The babies are estimated to be 2.11oz and 2.15oz!! No signs of premature labor etc. We just keep on trucking!! I haven't had time to get a picture for this one! Dec 7 is now our official scheduled c-section if nothing happens before that!!

A Visit from Grandmother and Grandaddy!!

Ryan's parents came in town for the weekend. It was great to get a visit in and they were a HUGE help around the house as we try to prepare things for the boys. Sat night we went over to UTD for a carnival/Richardson Symphony Concert/Fireworks. It was so pleasant outside. Ainsley was actually cold and had an extra pair of pants on her arms to keep her warm!!! She all of a sudden has become not fond of fireworks. Loved them in July, but would not have anything to do with them this time around. Note her face in the next picture! Yes, this is my favorite maternity shirt!!! I think I have it on in every picture on this blog!!! She was beyond worn out when we left!!! Home for a good night's sleep!!
