Playgroup/Visit from Elizabeth and Baby Claire

We hosted our last playgroup for awhile this morning. Ainsley still went to school (I'm a mean mean mom!! I still needed a few hours!) but it was great visiting with everyone!! I had signed up for Oct 31 before we knew we were pregnant so I decided to switch and help out with this one instead!! This has been a great chance for us to meet some of the other young families in the neighborhood and have really enjoyed them all. Since Ainsley is in school on Wednesdays when we meet we probably won't be there as often until the boys are born and we need to get out of the house!!! Lots of fun in the playroom!!! This afternoon we had a wonderful visit with our old neighbor Elizabeth and "Baby Claire". They have moved away to Kansas :( but were so happy that they had time to stop by on their visit back to Texas. Our neighbors from across the alley also joined us to get in a quick visit!! Baby Claire is not really a baby anymore!!! I think Ainsley will forever call her that though! She is on the move. Walking, climbing, crawling - whatever works!! She has the most beautiful smile and very enthusiastic! Thanks for stopping by at the end of your busy traveling day!! We loved seeing you and getting caught up!!!

We finally got to return a favor to our neighbor that always has Ainsley over to play or watches her for us during quick meetings/errands etc. We watched Trey one evening and Ainsley and I both had so much fun!!! He just turned one and talks non stop!! He is sweet, sweet, sweet!! We are getting so excited as the days grow closer for us to have two more of these little people around our house!!!! This morning we went to the Wiggles Play Center out in Frisco with Debbie, Abigail and Logan. (Doug and Ryan went to college together) The girls had a great time together and got lots of exercise keeping up with each other!!! Lots of jumping, climbing and giggling!!! Ainsley saying hi to baby Logan - he'll be three weeks this Thursday. We had a great time with them. We were a great team - Debbie could do with Ainsley all the things her BIG pregnant mommy can not do anymore and I could distract/help with Abigail while her mom was nursing or otherwise occupied with the baby. Both girls got all their needs met....for a few hours!! ;)

Around the House

Ainsley's specialty....making pizza! Taking care of two babies will be a breeze....Just like this!! We are mastering relaxation while we can at our house!! Loving and taking care of her babies! Jake is such a trooper!! A little wet around here!! A little water though sure wasn't going to keep us from school. Ainsley was excited to put on her gear and get moving!! Elizabeth, I hope the weather stays nice for you here next week. Considering it's Texas it has been EXTREMELY pleasant!! We can't wait to see you!

Richardson's Great Fountain Festival!!!

Ainsley was inspired to bury herself after watching two older girls cover themselves in sand with only their heads visible! I think one of these might be helpful to have at the house!! Fishing in the fountain. Dad and Stephen you would have been so proud! She remembered everything you taught her while fishing in Colorado!! Instead of gently attaching the toy pole to the magnet on the fishes mouth she wound up and casted with all her might, hitting a woman behind us in the glasses! Remembered everything but make sure the area is clear before you cast!!! They had some great country western dance groups perform from the local high schools. After they performed they did the chicken dance and asked all the kids to come up! Ainsley picked out the cutest boy on the team to dance with!! She did it!!! When in Colorado she did not want to ride the ponies but she was brave this go round and hopped right on!! I think it's Ryan's prescence!!

25 Weeks

I'm feeling a little alien like these days!!! We had another sonogram this past Thursday and things continue to be moving along well. One baby is 1lb 9oz and the other is 1lb 11oz. 25 weeks down, 13 to go!!

Ainsley's First Day of Pre-School

She woke up screaming from her room "mom, can I get up now?" around 6:00! She was so excited. Immediatly got dressed, ate breakfast and put on her new backpack - even though we had 2 1/2 hours until it would be time to go!! and sat patiently! Took pictures with all her family members including Jake!!! and then we got the call.....Her teacher called around 8:35 (school starts at 8:45) saying the church building had no electricity and school was cancelled!!! I truly wanted to cry!! Ainsley took it better than I thought. She said she was sad but immediatly took off her shoes and socks and got to playing. I however had a harder time switching gears! This was suppose to be MY day!!!! Well, thanks to my dear neighbor Kelly, I still got a little bit of time to myself. Ainsley went down the street and played with her friend Madison and I went and got my eyebrows waxed ;) and threw in a few errands and grocery shopping! So we wait until Friday and will try this all again!!

Having Fun, Making a Mess!!!!

Playing with Cornstarch and Water!!! This keeps her busy FOREVER! It looks a little frightening but it drys as a powder so is very easy to clean up!! And I can't help but get my hands in it too!!!
The clean up might be the funnest part!!!

Back in Business.....

We are back in business with a new camera! Still figuring out how everything works but ... Okay, so I've been VERY bad about tv watching since being pregnant!! And Ryan has been out of the country for the last two weeks. It finally hit me hard when I heard Ainsley singing a commercial jingle, then announcing "absolutely no closing costs" heard from a loan advertisement and then requesting AquaDots after seeing the latest and greatest toys being shown in between her shows!!! YIKES! We had to get out today! Ryan also helped taking her on lots of errands yesterday and to the pool.
