Afternoon at the Park

We walked up and met our neighbors at the park. McKenzie and her mom helped us get Brody and Findley fed. Thank goodness for extra hands!!! Ainsley and Madison would walk their bike up a cement ramp and then roll down with their feet out and scream - down the ramp and then continue on down this grassy hill. Madison created this ride and Ainsley slowly built up the courage to try it out herself and then didn't want to stop!!!

Ainsley's Professional Haircut

End of Memorial Day Weekend

Ainsley has wedding on the brain!!!! Since this was her last flower girl appointment I told her she could have the dress to dress up in. Well, she couldn't wait to put it back on - I couldn't even have the dressed cleaned and get the chocolate out of it before she wanted to start playing again!!! She escorts her Little People through a wedding ceremony. Choosing a bride and groom and matching up all the boys (groomsmen) with the girls (bridesmaid). They have a reception and cake and she hums their music through the whole thing!! How you too can accomplish this look?....my mom can make a tutu (veil) for you and Ryan can get you some glasses!! Drumroll please...........the boys are weaned from their miracle blankets!!!! They look so much bigger now seeing their little hineys in the air while sleeping or just sprawled out like big boys snoozing the night away!!! They still love their pacifiers and hold on to one of their loveys! To finish off our weekend we hung this swing for the boys. I had gotten it from a mom from my multiples group but we hadn't had time to hang it.... The boys love it and they can both swing at the same time!!!

I found my TOES!!!!

Findley LOVES playing with his toes!!! Especially nibbling on them. Whenever I took a picture his feet would fly from his mouth and his hands would fly to the side - not really getting the impact that I wanted - He practically rolls himself in a ball and just sucks on his toes!!! Ainsley was up for the challenge to see if she also could do this! Just to note I CAN still get my feet to my mouth but you really don't want a picture of this!!!

Reed & Dannielle's Wedding Day

Cousin Holly and Brody Jackson and Ainsley Okay, these are all backwards to any new comers to our blog...those that read often know I don't know how to do it any other way!!! These are some girls Ainsley met at the wedding. They were tired of being proper and looked at me like I was crazy when I said "RUN!" There was some beautiful land behind the church. Ainsley and Jackson were having quite a time throwing the birdseed at the end of the reception! Ainsley then went and got cups and filled them up with water so that the birds could have something to drink after they had eaten! When the men started sweeping up Ainsley burst into tears screaming that they were taking away the birds food and they would die! It had been a long day and we were a tad emotional! It was a wonderful day!!! Findley conked out ( I think these are Liz' sunglasses?)
Hanging out with Grandaddy and cousin Silas Ainsley and Silas Grandaddy and Brody Grandmother and Findley We will let Brody speak for the family - We were so excited to be here and help celebrate their day with them!!!
Jackson (the ring bearer) and Ainsley Reed on his big day!! Jackson and Ainsley getting a nutritious Whataburger lunch before they perform their parts!

The Rehearsal Dinner

Here we were at the church. Brody has so much fun seeing other children/babies. He and Jackson were having a great time checking each other out. Jackson and Ainsley with the Bride, Danielle! These were their gifts for being in the wedding and Ainsley has not let this Barvie car out of sight ever since then!! She loves it Danielle! Great pick!!!

On our way to Lubbock

We headed down to Lubbock Friday afternoon for Reed's wedding (Ryan's cousin) Ryan had bought this DVD player last summer when we drove to Colorado and Ainsley wasn't really into it but still did great on the drive. This year she definanlty LOVED having her own movie player. She felt so big back in the back seat figuring out how everything worked all by herself! She learned how to spell/recognize NEXT, PREVIOUS, PLAY, STOP and PAUSE as we hollered from the front which buttons to push when she got stuck. Her headphones also had a volume button on the headphones themselves. I was explaining + and - to her and how that affected the volume. She said - takes away all the bad parts! (she mutes the scary parts she doesn't like!) I guess she was getting a little hot in the back. We had mentioned trying to take a nap because it would make the drive go faster and she would then be rested for all the celebrating we were going to have ahead of us. I turned around to check on her and she had taken her shirt off, gotten comfortable and was fast asleep! Findley too.... Not Brody! They were all wonderful although the boys didn't sleep as much as I thought they would? Maybe two 20 minute naps?

Ainsley and Mommy's last official day together! :(

Thursday was the boys last day at MDO :( I know Ainsley and I will continue to have our time together we just have to get a little bit more creative getting it all set up!! So...our last day we did lots of errands. We did some shopping for our beach trip, went and had lunch, stopped and played on a playground and just enjoyed the day. Here is some beachwear we couldn't pass up for the boys! Who says shopping for boys can't be fun!! and here are some football shirts we picked up also. My little bruisers!! ;) as I'm typing this Brody is "inchworming" across the playroom. He is getting strong!

Potter's House - Happy Birthday Marshall & Macie

On top of the world....we went to a party at the Potter's this past weekend to celebrate Marshall's 4th birthday and Macie's 1st birthday. Sadly, I didn't get any pictures of the celebratees! Macie was sleeping most of the time and Marshall didn't stop long enough for me to think about a picture! We always have such a nice time at their house. The kids love playing with each other and it is a relaxing environment and just a easy going evening! Abigail, Avery and Ainsley on the swings Ainsley and Abigail Yes, this monstrous bounce house was in their back yard! They have a HUGE backyard that is so nice!! Ainsley finally went down one of these slides all by herself. I'm going through our routine events this year enjoying not being pregnant and remembering how I was feeling during my pregnancy last year. These slides and bounce houses were definantly out of the question! I'm enjoying being able to be active again!!!
