This baby was a birthday present from Auntie. Her name for the day is Hanger Ross??? We get very creative with baby names and they change at anytime!!! Ainsley LOVES this baby!! It talks to her saying "Hi, Mama", "I'm thirsty", "I have a poopy" (Ainsley always tells her no you don't when she says this!) and more. Her mouth moves when she talks and she really sucks while drinking her bottle and chews when feeding her "doll food". We haven't tried that yet! That's the last thing I need is having to run to the store last minute b/c Ainsley's doll doesn't have food!! So we've ignored that option for the time being. She also sighs when she gets tired and says good night and closes her eyes. We had to figure this out in order to let Ainsley sleep with the baby. Ainsley is getting lots of practice having a baby with needs around the house and so am I!!!! Lots of fun. This is Ainsley at Pump it Up - a room full of bounce houses for kids to run their energy out!!! This was her special outing yesterday for her birthday and she loved it! I did too!! She has finished her first week of swimming lessons and will go again next week. If the rain ever stops we'll see if she'll do it at the pool for Ryan or I the way she does it for her teacher?
Head underwater and away she goes......

Ainsley's First Swim Lessons

Ainsley has started taking swim lessons for the first time this week. She was very excited the first day and then not so today after knowing the "mean" teacher was going to make her put her face in the water - She's never been real fond of doing this! But today, only her second day, the teacher had her going underwater no problem and putting her head underwater at the steps to retrieve things. She was so proud of herself. You are sure to see more pictures of this!! On the last day we get to take pictures/videos! She likes to shave like her daddy in the bathtub!!!

Happy Birthday Part 2

Okay, so this is a little backwards. I still haven't figured out all the details of this blogging!!!! This is part 2 of her birthday - I couldn't get all the pictures uploaded at one time??? Here are the guys celebrating a three year olds birthday!! In the garage, where else? Ainsley and Granny (my mom) Hanging out with her cousin Mason. He will be 7 in October and lives in Forth Worth. Opening presents!! Time for cake!!! Thanks Stacy for making this DELICOUS cake!!! Might have to go cut me another little sliver!!! Here's to an exciting year as a three year old!!!

Happy Third Birthday Ainsley!!!

We celebrated Ainsley's third birthday with family and two of her very good friends - Callie, from church and school and Madison, our neighbor. They stayed cool splashing in the pool and had lots of fun getting messy with shaving cream!!! Ainsley did not stop moving all day and has been so excited about her party all week long. This was the first year she has really gotten into the planning, opening presents etc. She was so excited to have her friends and family share the day with her!! As I write this she is in the fourth hour of her nap and still resting!!!! I did check to make sure she was still breathing!! Our enthusiastic neighbor Madison!!! So much fun with shaving cream!!! Baby Trey having fun hanging out with the big kids!! Being girls....They would back up from the pool and all start screaming and run toward the pool and jump in.....over and over and over again!!!

Sonogram Pictures

We finally got the scanner back out and working!!! Here was our sonogram at 9.5 weeks. After looking at the picture, Ainsley thinks one is a boy and one is a girl because the one on the right looks like it has a bow in it's hair!! ???? We'll see...... Here is our most recent sonogram at 12 weeks. The sonographer randomly referred to them as two boys? Hmmmmmm......She said they still don't like to tell until they can be absolutely sure??? We have another one scheduled for July 11. They mentioned we may only get one more where they can both fit on the screen at the same time!

Aladdin Performance in Fort Worth

Last night we went to see Mason (our nephew) in his performance of Aladdin. He has been in a summer camp working on this play. He is quite a ham and LOVES being in the spotlight. GREAT JOB MASON!

Ainsley did really well sitting (thank you Grandmother/Diane for getting her prepared for this environment!! Ainsley and her Grandmother went to see Charlotte's Web a couple of weeks ago.) We did get her a candy bracelet she enjoyed nibbling on during the play but was very taken in by all the action on stage. She immediatly picked out who she liked (the good guys - prince and princess and the bad guys - anyone with a mean voice, or sword)

Sonogram/Ultrasound of the Twins

Yesterday we had another sonogram of the twins. They are both doing well. Their heartbeats were wonderful to hear!!! They are growing nicely - he said almost 3 inches each - and all looked well. We go back for another sonogram in 4 weeks and will then hopefully find out whether we have boys, girls or a little of each!! Ainsley is VERY excited about the thought of TWO babies in the house! She loves taking care of her dolls and is very motherly in the way she plays (She's pretty bossy and likes to tell everyone else what to do....Is that what I do everyday?)

Beginning Bloggers

Well, we are going to try this out. I have had some friends that started a blog and I love checking in on their children and family activities when they are far away or things just get too busy to stay in constant contact.....Hope you enjoy. Kara
