Getting Ready for the Boys!!!

Ainsley helping Ryan put together a new fan for the boys' room. Ainsley helping Grandmother tie the bumper into the cradle. I wish I could have gotten a more natural pose of this but she wouldn't let me. We had a painter come paint her room and the baby's room and she was in awe of his work. She sat on this step stool and watched EVERYTHING he did!!! He would go out back to wash off brushes and such and she was two steps behind him - poor guy!!! She says she might be a painter when she grows up!

What would we do without friends??

Ainsley reading with Rufus. He is a church friend and was in her class last year but has moved to a school closer to them. We still love to visit and have playdates!! This was a playdate with Lilly. She is the daughter of a friend from 7th and 8th grade - Emily Lobe - Welch!!! My dad was subbing and ran into her teaching at St. Rita and we got reunited!! It has been very fun catching up with her!! And our good 'ole neighbor Elliot!! He has two older sisters who have dance for two hours on Wed nights so we thought he might enjoy some playtime of his own and had him stay with us!!!

Playgroup/Visit from Elizabeth and Baby Claire

We hosted our last playgroup for awhile this morning. Ainsley still went to school (I'm a mean mean mom!! I still needed a few hours!) but it was great visiting with everyone!! I had signed up for Oct 31 before we knew we were pregnant so I decided to switch and help out with this one instead!! This has been a great chance for us to meet some of the other young families in the neighborhood and have really enjoyed them all. Since Ainsley is in school on Wednesdays when we meet we probably won't be there as often until the boys are born and we need to get out of the house!!! Lots of fun in the playroom!!! This afternoon we had a wonderful visit with our old neighbor Elizabeth and "Baby Claire". They have moved away to Kansas :( but were so happy that they had time to stop by on their visit back to Texas. Our neighbors from across the alley also joined us to get in a quick visit!! Baby Claire is not really a baby anymore!!! I think Ainsley will forever call her that though! She is on the move. Walking, climbing, crawling - whatever works!! She has the most beautiful smile and very enthusiastic! Thanks for stopping by at the end of your busy traveling day!! We loved seeing you and getting caught up!!!

We finally got to return a favor to our neighbor that always has Ainsley over to play or watches her for us during quick meetings/errands etc. We watched Trey one evening and Ainsley and I both had so much fun!!! He just turned one and talks non stop!! He is sweet, sweet, sweet!! We are getting so excited as the days grow closer for us to have two more of these little people around our house!!!! This morning we went to the Wiggles Play Center out in Frisco with Debbie, Abigail and Logan. (Doug and Ryan went to college together) The girls had a great time together and got lots of exercise keeping up with each other!!! Lots of jumping, climbing and giggling!!! Ainsley saying hi to baby Logan - he'll be three weeks this Thursday. We had a great time with them. We were a great team - Debbie could do with Ainsley all the things her BIG pregnant mommy can not do anymore and I could distract/help with Abigail while her mom was nursing or otherwise occupied with the baby. Both girls got all their needs met....for a few hours!! ;)

Around the House

Ainsley's specialty....making pizza! Taking care of two babies will be a breeze....Just like this!! We are mastering relaxation while we can at our house!! Loving and taking care of her babies! Jake is such a trooper!! A little wet around here!! A little water though sure wasn't going to keep us from school. Ainsley was excited to put on her gear and get moving!! Elizabeth, I hope the weather stays nice for you here next week. Considering it's Texas it has been EXTREMELY pleasant!! We can't wait to see you!
