We had our first visit by the ambulance last night. Findley woke from nap with a slight fever but was acting fine - laughing, playing etc. I thought I'd just keep an eye on it and wait it out - hopefully let the fever do it's work - and give him Motrin before bed if needed. Around 7:00, I took his temp and it was 103.3!!!! He was running all over the place! No clue! I gave him some Motrin and put on his pajamas and while laying on the floor starring at his fan he had a febrile seizure. The scariest night of my life! He totally went limp, unresponsive - so scary. I ran to call 911, Ainsley is hysterical now knowing something is wrong, Ryan is out. Ambulance on the way, Ryan coming home, Findley laying on the dining room floor. The paramedics got here very quickly - they are right down the street from us - they were wonderful. By the time they got here Findley started coming back and his temp was already going down but now obviously uncomfortable. Ainsley was calmed when they got here and he even let Ainsley write on his computer to ease her mind and leave on a good note! I can't say enough how wonderful they were. I was up about every hour throughout the night checking on everyones temp! They all slept until about 8:00 this morning and Findley woke up singing - he was back to himself!!!! Brody and Findley are now both giggling and playing in their cribs - refusing nap. It never sounded so good!!! :) Ainsley drew this picture on the wall (it is chalkboard!) for Findley this morning! Everyone is squeezing each other a little tighter today!!!
