For our playgroup gathering this past week we went to Owens Farm. It was free for the boys, $5 for me and a TON of fun!!!! We fed goats, saw longhorns, donkeys, turkeys, chickens, ponies, potbelly pigs and more, went on a hay ride, pet 2,oo0lb horses, had the nicest man show us around and then ended in a beautiful shaded picnic area where the kids were free to roam!! We were the ONLY people there!!! They said that will change with school starting - perfect timing!!!!

Kara- that looks so cool, I want to take the girls there! Can individuals go, or does it have to be a group?
you can go by yourself....you might want to call and talk with them to see the best time. They said they were going to start having lots of school groups - it was so nice having the place to ourselves. They also do a big pumpkin/fall event that might be fun....
