Sunday night Ryan and Ainsley headed out to find a tree. We all have such bad allergies and have just gotten the boys noses back to "normal" along with needles, watering and the chores to keep a live tree looking well so we decided to go the articial route this year. I didn't realize how much the artifical trees are.....I really do like this one we got but would ideally like to have one for the den also so will keep my eyes out at the after Christmas sales!!!
Ainsley hanging a few ornaments we had stored throughout the house that didn't make it back in the Christmas boxes at the end of last year! She knew exactly where they all were! The rest are still in the attic - may be our accomplishment for tonight? We'll see....
I was so worried about what it was going to be like keeping the boys out of the tree. We never had problems with Ainsley but they tag team me and I just can't be everywhere at one time!!! So far - they could care less about the tree!!! Findley was more interested in the directions - he loves paper? Brody found some pieces from the tree that made nice megaphones and he loved hearing his voice echo all over the house. Ainsley was trying to make tunnels and things out of the box!!!
Findley was more into playing with the gate then attempting to get to the tree
I love it! So we don't have any of our contraptions up to keep them away from the tree...yet! It's so pretty and I love being able to have everything open and be able to enjoy it all day long!!! Now for the rest of the decorating!!!
