Our first pumpkin patch of the season

Our church pumpkin patch is open!!! Ryan was working at the patch today. He was heading up there on his bike and Ainsley was dying to go with him. She ran to the garage and got her bike as fast as she could and tried to follow behind. He was in a hurry so we let him go and I got the kids dressed and we followed behind.....in the car!! It is so fun seeing how excited the kids get when the pumpkins arrive. I was worried Brody and Findley would be all over the place but they would stay in one area and were just in ah of it all! They drummed on them, slobbered on them, picked them up, hollered in excitement and just had a great time!!!

Welcome Home Grandmother and Grandaddy!!

Ryan's parents just got back from a 3 week trip to China. They came by last night shared lots of wonderful stories and goodies, spent the night and were headed to home sweet home this morning!! Glad to see you and so glad you had a wonderful trip!! Can't wait to see all the pictures! When Ainsley came in after saying good bye this morning she was a bit sad and said "but I didn't even get to see pictures of the Great Wall!" Rest up and will look forward to hearing more next time we visit!

A Day at the Park

The weather has been so nice and tolerable. We brought home a friend from school and got lunch and went to the park. Ainsley and Julia wanting to be the babies!!!
The boys first french fries! :( I've caved!!!! the boys got much more exciting pushes from the girls than their mommy!! they loved it!!! lots of giggles and thankfully no flying little boys! such a nice end to the week!

Hanging out in our Jammies!!!

Good Friends and Fun

We had our neighborhood playgroup this past week. It was a small group but so fun really getting to talk to the moms and the kids had fun also!!! We put some snacks on the table and they all came running!!! Ainsley in her gymnastics outfit! She is taking gymnastics on Thursdays and is really enjoying it. She LOVES to practice around the house now off the couch, ottoman - wherever she feels the need to move!!! Cartwheels, back bends and front rolls are now a part of her daily vocabulary!!! We went out to Greenhill to visit our friends - It was SO good to see everyone. I always have the warmest feelings going there and leave feeling so good! What wonderful people!!!! We played in the infant room with Ms. Rhiannon and Ms. Lina - that was Ainsley's class when I was teaching there. The boys look so big to me eating at the "big kids table"!!! Brody and Findley had such a good time and I loved getting to see and visit with my friends!!! We love you guys so much!!! Findley, Ms. Lina, and Brody. Ms. Lina was Ainsley's teacher and made me cry on a weekly basis for sure, sometimes daily, with the wonderful things she did with Ainsley when she was little!!! WE LOVE YOU LINA!!!!

Playing around with the camera

Findley getting a sink bath Ainsley's outfit for school. I tried to convince her to change either her top or bottom so it wasn't so busy - she explained to me that the butterflies on her shirt liked the flowers on her pants? Okay, you win!!!
This just boggles me....our fan was on high speed and this is how the picture turned out - but I can't get pictures of my kids spinning around in circles!!! Just weird I thought? Everyone attacking mommy!!! Whenever Brody sees the camera he bolts quickly toward it making picture taking even more challenging!! Lots of close ups these days!!

Sounds of ClassFestival at UTD

The Potters came over and we went to this festival across the street at UTD. The kids have so much fun together and it is a really fun event....games, bounce houses, FREE cotton candy - YUMMY!!, train rides, food, live music and fire works!!! Ainsley getting her first henna tatoo!!! Our crews!! The boys were crawling around enjoying their freedom. At the first firework they crawled to each other and sat up to watch and were frozen until the end! It was really cute and fun to see how much they enjoyed them!! Ainsley however enjoyed the whole day UNTIL she heard the first firework. She is not a fan of loud noises - she is getting better but she spend this time in my lap with her head buried shedding a few tears!
